COVID - 19
As a church, our response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is one of faith in God instead of fear. Worry will not change anything, but rather, we will aid the national effort to bring this pandemic under control, and we implore you to follow government guidelines such as staying alert, staying at home if you can, washing your hands and staying safe.
We also implore you to pray and turn to God in these times, because we know that Psalm 91 is our portion. 1 John 4:18 says, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.” We choose hope, peace and faith in these unprecedented times.
At RC, we take your safety very seriously. We are trying to make sure we do everything possible to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection to our members and visitors.
We have had our building fumigated by a reputable biohazard cleaning company. We have also ensured that hand sanitisers are placed around the building, hand washing facilities are available and other measures have been put into place also. Cleaning and rigorous sanitising of surfaces etc., will take place throughout the building on the service days. We are observing government guidelines and social distancing measures are in place.
Where possible, we will create separate entrances and exits to the church building, so that it’s easier to keep a safe distance from other parishioners. Our services will also be different, and more options will be available. We ask that those who are vulnerable and the elderly stay at home until it is safer for them to be able to attend church services in the building. We are working hard to minister to and serve you, so please do bear with us and remember that we are all in this together.
