WHO WE ARE

Royal Connections (RC) is a vibrant Pentecostal Church, a large, worldwide, multi-cultural community of Charismatic Christians.

RC is part of a the great commission of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). RCCG is a worldwide church that was established in 1952 by Pa Josiah Akindayomi. The present General Overseer is Pastor E.A. Adeboye.

We operate an open door policy and welcome everyone irrespective of their race, gender, religion or belief, sexual orientation, disability and age.

We accomplish this by: helping each individual Discover, Develop and ultimately Deploy their potentials.

We aim to build a family of leaders and people who are constantly pushing barriers down, relating with each other to positively affect our society for the kingdom.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Our Mission is to extend the Kingdom of God by any means necessary, using our core values of:

  • Excellence in all we do,
  • Expansion of God’s work through church planting,
  • Equipping of saints through diverse motivational trainings; and
  • Evangelism through diverse methods of soul winning.
Prayer undergirds all we seek out to do.

OUR GOALS

  • To see people come to know Jesus Christ
  • To see people grow in Christian faith
  • To see people prepared for Christian service
  • To see people nurtured through teaching and training
  • To see lives transformed through services rendered by the church
  • To encourage individuals within the church to take their place in the society.
  • To expand the scope of our youth ministry as a catalyst to win the younger generation to Christ
  • To have a 24 hour prayer centre
  • To expand the RCCG mission works in Europe Region 3 consisting of 19 nations
  • To embark on extensive outreach community work that will impact the lives of people in Tower Hamlets and in the society as a whole.
  • To build a multipurpose complex to house different ministries, schools, restaurant, gym
  • To set up refuge homes for the homeless and foster homes for children
  • To adopt a nation each year and offer scholarships to under privileged children

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • We organise a robust evangelism outreach every Saturday at various locations in Tower Hamlets to bring people to know Jesus Christ.
  • We have a thriving Cell Church held every first Friday of the month to enable members to know more about Jesus Christ and grow in faith.
  • We organise training every year for ministers and team leaders in RC to equip and prepare them for leadership roles.
  • We organise Workers Training every second Friday of the month to upskill and update workers about current and emerging trends in Christian service.
  • We run mid-week services tagged “Digging Deep” where we teach deep and thorough biblical words to people.
  • We passionately encourage our people to be the best they can in whatever they are involved in through our prayers, teachings, training, mentoring programs and closely engaging with people of positive influence.
  • We have a growing Youth Church and run its services independent of the main church.
  • We have prayer meetings every third Friday of the month and night vigils every fourth Friday. We also have Intercessory Prayer meetings every Tuesdays and Thursdays of the month.
  • We have taken more additional role in RC to help expand the work of the gospel in RCCG Europe Region 3. This is in line with our global mission of planting churches for the expansion of God’s work.
  • We run a Hot Meal Club every fourth Sunday of the month for people who are homeless, needy and under privileged in Tower Hamlets.
  • We undertake visits to Elderly People’s Homes to pray, read and help them in any aspects of their lives.
  • We have just completed the first phase of The Hub Project with facilities such as the state of the art studios and the beautifully crafted lobby area as part of the show piece.
  • We financially support good charitable causes for the homeless and foster homes and sponsors over 75 children in schools and colleges across Africa and the Caribbean.
